7-Up Float

When I was a little girl (back when I had a crush on every single one of The Beatles) the 7-Up Float was a big deal.
It was always in the punch bowl at weddings or baby showers, and if we had the flu, Mom would make us a glass. It was almost worth getting sick just to have some.
This is very simple to make and there are no measurements, because it really depends on the size of your glass. Hint: use a big glass.

Lime Sherbet
7-Up

Scoop enough sherbet in your glass to come almost to the top. Gently pour in 7-Up until the foam comes to the top of the glass. Use a fork to break up the chunks of sherbet until it’s smooth and creamy. Stick a milkshake straw in there and go sit in some shade while you sip.
Reminder: 7-Up is not the same as Sprite, so try it the original way first. I understand that this is also done with chocolate ice cream, but it’s hard to believe that the chocolate version is anywhere close to this one.
ENJOY!
